In this time of social distancing, many of us are feeling isolated. Even though I am going to work every day, I come home to a lonely existence with only my cats for company. I try to reach out to others but of course it’s not the same. Virtual hugs are not satisfying like in person hugs. There’s no one’s shoulder to cry on. It’s easy to become even more isolated and withdrawn. I have to remember, I am NEVER alone. There is One who is with my always even in my isolation.
(And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20 CSB)
